Currently in Singapore for The Brunei Forum organised by the Brunei Economic Development Board and the Institute of Southeast Asia Studies.
My last trip here was in 2006 and I am staying at the same hotel.
So many changes in the span of two years! Passed by that hugeeeeee Singapore flyer or what I call it as Singapore Eye..huhu.. and apparently one train.. hmm.. what do we call it, those thing we ride on? Well, it can fit about 28 people on it. Wah!
And they’ve also constructed a permanent water front stage for National Day celebration. I think that’s a cool idea
Apart from that, more new buildings and some are underway.
Oh and I also went to the Institute of Southeast Asia Studies to check out the venue. I was actually in awe with their book and journal collections. Must remember to get some books during the actual day. Apart from that, the actual thing is taking place tomorrow, so I had the time to walk around. Didn’t really get the opportunity to take pictures though and my colleagues are nowhere to be found. Huhuhu!
It is about 6′ish pm at the moment and the day is still bright. Might enjoy the night by going out for a walk later on.
Til then, cheerio
ps. Will try to write about The Brunei Forum once things get started.

I wanted to ride on the Singapore Flyer since the start of its construction (despite the fact that the bf is terrified of heights).
But now, looking at the price and the fact that we wont be alone, the thrill isnt there anymore.
I might as well ride a good old ferris wheel at a fun fair.

Hai Sha
I’m not good with heights so the thought to ride on it never crossed my mind *LoL*
But yeah, it sure looked grand. I just wonder how the F1 will be.
