Fried Mee Hoon

29 Aug

Today’s menu to break the fast was Fried Mee Hoon (among others). I had an eye for this one so decided to make one just to fulfil my cravings. Haha! But rest assured, I didnt go overboard with my food intake, it was just like any other meal :)

I have always had a thing for Mee Hoon. During uni years, I could eat these noodle for the whole 3 meals of the day and added lots of Thai Chilli… it was the bomb! And super hot… literally!! Hehe!

Since it was fasting, didn’t really know how it tasted but thank goodness it was alright. I normally fry using oyster sauce but this time, decided to use a different type of sauce.

Ingredients:

Mee Hoon

Blended shallots, garlic

Chilli paste

Chicken sausages

Prawn

Sawi

Kicap Mee

Chilli sauce

Sweet soy sauce

Method;

Boil Mee Hoon and put aside. Fry blended shallots, garlic, chilli paste. Once it is ready, put in small slices of chicken sausages and prawn. Add in Kicap Mee, chilli sauce and sweet soya sauce. Add in seasoning. Once the sauce is done, add in the noodles followed by sawi.

And you are set :)
